DR Vert Mooney Orthopaedic Consultant Dr Vert Mooney is currently the Medical Director of the San Diego Spine Center. He is also an Orthopaedic Surgeon who has been President and actively involved in many orthopaedic, surgical and spine related medical associations throughout the world. Dr Mooney is a recognised researcher who has conducted studies in several areas related to orthopaedics. | |

Helen Clare DipPhty (Otago, N.Z) Dip MDT, GradDipManipTher (Cumb), MAppSc (Syd) Email: clare.ha@bigpond.com Helen was appointed Director of Education in 1998. She gained her Diploma in Physiotherapy at the New Zealand School of Physiotherapy (Otago, N.Z) in 1975. To further her experience she shifted to Sydney, Australia. In 1983 she gained her Postgraduate Diploma in Manipulative Therapy. It was during this Postgraduate training that her interest in the McKenzie method of diagnosis and therapy treatment expanded. She became a Teaching Faculty Member of the McKenzie Institute Australia in 1985 and has been a Faculy member of the Internation Institute since 1995. She completed her Masters of Applied Science (Manipulative Therapy) in 1989 and is currently enrolled in doctoral studies at the University of Sydney. Helen had her own Physiotherapy Clinic in Sydney for 18 years and now works as a Consultant. | |

More recently she has worked in administration at the McKenzie Institute's clinics in New Zealand, and for two and half years worked at the Institute's Spinal Therapy and Rehabilitation Centre. Jan was General Manager of Spinal Publications New Zealand Ltd from her appointment in 1995 until very recently. | |

Joy McKenzie Trustee Joy met Robin McKenzie during her nursing training at Wellington Hospital in 1953. While attending to the care of their young family, Joy remained involved in the running of their busy clinic. Her interest in the care of patients continued through her involvement in The Lodge, Spinal Therapy & Rehabilitation Centre and following its closure in 1995, Joy has remained as a Trustee of The McKenzie Institute International. | |
